ewanhoozarmy Leaning more into the rock side of the 80's sound than the trilogy, and that's no bad thing. I fuckin love this record. Favorite track: Cheerleader Effect.

Delvercetti I love Carpenter Brut's music and this album seriously expands on the sounds and artistry that he can produce. Favorite track: End Titles.

Kyotofu If i wanna be completely honest, i was expecting this album to be everything but what it actually is. It's not disappointing by any means (some tracks are seriously great Carpenter Brut's style bangers), but I just don't feel a real evolution, or a change that could've possibly brought more to the synthwave scene. Keeping the 80's horror movie roots is cool and all, but after 3 years of waiting, i really thought there would be "more" to this. Nontheless ! It. is. real nice. Favorite track: Inferno Galore.

Track Name: Cheerleader Effect
Feel the sun on my face
Sharpened like a razor blade
Feed the rising pain inside
The body, soul and brain

Living monster of the night
You made me what I’m today
You don’t have to scream and shout
In this silent place

Trapped under the neon light
As long as the show’s alive
The welded flesh to sweat
And blood still flows in hell

Warden of your nightmare
A trip down memory lane
You’re on the way, the end is nigh
There’s nothing to be saved

Living monster of the night
You made me what I’m today
You don’t have to scream and shout
In this silent place
Track Name: Beware The Beast
We kiss shadows with the shape of our skull
delicious bones caress the unknown
A dull ache from the hunger of flesh
Wild veins beneath the surface

A drug-rush as our bodies thrash
Then put your hands around my neck
coming up in a sea of lust
Tongues licking at the devil’s knife edge

Beware of the beast
Inside your heart
When we’re dancing in the dark
And the night's desire
Is burning with the devil’s fire

Beware of the beast
Inside your heart
When we’re dancing in the dark
And the night's desire
Is burning with the devil’s fire

Dreams crawl
With flesh and blood
Our desire cries out
Our desire howls out

They say the devil
Will make work
Of idle hands
They say the mind corrupts
When the flesh is weak

We burnt our fingers
on the heat
of the fire inside of me
drowned our wits beneath a sea
a flood of urges way too deep

They say the devil
Will make work
Of idle hands
When the night
cries out . . .
With this wrong desire
